History: Growing up, Taylor was the spacy, ditzy girl who really had no worries. Day after day, she'd just hang out with her girlfriends and talk about clothes and boys. She never really had an interest in grades, but when she came close to failing during her 7th grade year, her parents threatened to send her to 'reform' school. Not wanting to be away from her friends, or her current 'boyfriend,' she changed her attitude about school. True, this cut into her social life, but since her parent's saw a change in her, they rewarded her with clothes, make-up, being allowed to go out with friends. When she was a sophomore in high school, she decided to join the volleyball team, which pleased her father immensely because he liked to see her active. Slowly, her interests went from boys to sports; although she did have her eye on a few of the jocks. In order to impress them, she began to work out in the school weight room. Needless to say, many guys jumped at the opportunity to 'spot' for her.
During her final two years, the prospect of going to college became appealing and she applied at many places all over the U.S. She hadn't given much thought to go abroad for college, until she met a representative from Dymphna at a college-fair. Despite that she didn't know what she wanted to major in, yet, the rep told her that she had much potential to get in, since her grades were decent and she was involved some 'nice' extracurricular activities. On a whim, she decided to apply. Her personal essay was titled, "Realizations of a High School Tartlet," which impressed someone at St. Dymphna because they attached a personal letter about it, with her acceptance packet.
